Margaret's Gardens
Margaret's Gardens are named for Margaret Culberson Jetter, Vince Jetter's mother.
The gardens are located at the Vince Jetter Community Center,
311 So. 3rd St. in Clinton,
and contain accessible raised beds, containers and a variety of vegetables, flowers and pollinators!
The gardens support healthier food choices. Future plans include hydroponics and healthy cooking classes!
Thank you for your generous donations of school supplies!
We distributed over 600 backpacks filled with supplies during and after our Back to School Event in Clinton Park!
Kutz for Kidz
Thank you to Beyond Faded Barber Shop in Clinton! The kids love the haircuts by Barber Wendy, Barber Nick and Barber Reese. You put smiles on the faces of 50 youth, looking sharp on the first day of school!
Wonderful Wednesdays
We've had a blast this summer on Wednesday mornings at Clinton Park!
Tamra Jetter, Tiffany Harris, Nicki Jetter Holloway and community volunteers led amazing fun events enjoyed by all ages!
See you next summer!
Juneteenth is a day of celebration to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved persons and the end of slavery in the U.S.
We honored the day on the riverfront, along with Ebony Illusion Dance, Clinton High School iJAG and hundreds of people from the community with prayers, music by DJ J Dub and a live band, 10 of Soul, games, contests, dancing, and free food.
